Mrs. Othene Stone was born on March 28, 1930 to the late Samuel and Agnes Harkins in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.

She confessed her faith in Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at Seleeta Baptist Church early in her life and continued in service as a member of Rising Star Baptist Church of Sylacauga until her health failed.

Mrs. Stone departed this life Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Russell Medical Center.

She was preceeded in death by her late husband, Mr. W.Z. Daniels; one son, Mr. Johnny Daniels and one step-son, Mr. Larry Stone.

She leaves to mourn her passing: a husband, Mr. Jessie Lee Stone of Sylacauga, Alabama; four sons, Mr. James Daniels (Lisa) of Alexander City, Alabama; Mr. Albert Daniels (Pearl) of Alexander City, Alabama, Mr. Jerry Daniels (Lexy) of Wetumpka, Alabama, Mr. Kenneth Daniels (Sharon) of Alexander City, Alabama, one stepson, Mr. Clyde Stone (Diana) of Birmingham, Alabama; last but not least, she leaves two daughters, Ms. Patricia Dixon of Alexander City, Alabama, Ms. Gloria Daniel of Houston, Texas, one stepdaughter, Ms. Linda Stone of New York; one sister-in-law, Mary Powell, in addition she leaves to cherish 39 grandchildren; 35 great- grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews
