Grandad, many a mixed memory I have of you. My favourite was crimson rice on sleep overs and Sunday morning stories on the radio.
Too many think we have forever to make amends and heal gaps in relationships, life keeps us busy distracting our plans. Then we reflect and its all too late. Others life songs crowd our ears with personal sorrow, their reality blurs your own. Bitterness and memories painted in smears frustrates truth from fabrications. Families whilst loving and kind can also be jealous and stifling. I moved away for my child, not realising completely how much extended families add to the tapestry of my own children's lives and gives identity to their tomorrows.
Im sorry Olwen for being so absent, I give you absolute thanks and appreciation for always supporting your family through life. A true compassionate soul. All my very best to you, Nigel, Rebecca and Josh.
