Thank You Heavenly Father for allowing us the privilege of having Pastor Sid in our lives. He was truly a blessing and an example of faith to the Body and to all he came in contact with. Our prayers are with Sis. Christine and the family.

To our dear friends, Sid & Christine. The times and the laughter we have shared are memories that are forever in our hearts. While not as often as we would have liked, each time is so very precious to us. I wonder who Sid will tell the silly jokes with in Heaven, maybe Paul? awww I bet it will be Peter! We look forward to the day we can all laugh together again. We love you both.

and for those of us who are still here, what a joy it was to know such an awesome man & father & pastor! Christine, Matt & Sarah, Dan & Tia, Julia & Ralf and Phil & Darby... our love and prayers are going up for you all and your babies. May our Heavenly Father hold you all up and tightly in His glorious arms and give you the peace and comfort that you need right now. We love you.

Sid spoke at our Grandma Harms' 80th birthday, in 1980, and I clearly remember the passage he presented about our Christian heritage and that we could count on a God that is the same yesterday, today and forever. Thank you, Sid and Christine, for continuing what our grandparents and parents taught and believed. Love and prayers.

Even though I did not know Pastor Sid that well, the few times that I did see him preach, he always brought a smile to my soul. He was funny to the very last day in which he gave the congregation on update on his health a couple of weeks before leaving us. He was still joking and putting smiles on everyone's face. I pray for Christine and his family, he will be deeply missed.

Many years ago, you showed up in Eugene and my life was never the same. As a young believer, Sid and your entire family had an amazing impact on my life. Sid's life help to guide my steps and walk with the Lord. As a result, I have served in youth ministry for 25 years, have a D.Min and am an adjunct professor at Fresno Pacific. He is in Jesus presence now, and I am forever grateful.

Dear family of Pastor Sid, Although I was not a part of the marriage group, I had spoken to Pastor Sid about my children one day on a meet and great after service - he treated me as if we were old friends He was such a profoundly discerning man - such a gentle man of God - what he shared with me will always encourage me and has given me a softer heart because I heard him preach and care.

Thank you so much for sharing so much of your husband, your father with us. I can't help but smile when I think of the marvelous grace of God who allowed the two of you to spend his last week with the ALCF family. Pastor Sid's life (and yours Christine) is a testimony of what true faith and faithfulness looks like. Heaven was always Pastor Sid's destiny. Praying for and with you.

Pastor Sid, I will cherish the couples nite out times with you & Christine. You both were & are an inspiration to me. Loved how simply you expressed the important points of marriage. I am constantly reminded to fix myself when I think my husband needs a fixin! Will always remember your wonderful story of Cinderfella (can hear it in my head). My heart & prayers are with Christine & family.
