Pat was born to James & Mary Meceli on December 22,1938 in Stamford, CT. She met & married the love of her life Van L Simpson on March 9th 1963. They had 3 children. Geno Meceli who preceeds her in death in 2001, Vickie Simpson of Holiday, Fl & Lisa Saunders, Thomaston, CT.

Patricia spent most of her life in Stamford, Ct. Where they raised their granddaughter, Kristen Simpson Goodwin. She was employed at Rings End Lumber in Darien, CT & Stamford Hospital in Stamford, CT. She retired in 2000 & moved to Muncie, IN where she enjoyed her peaceful country home. Spending time with her family was the most important priority of her life. She is also survived by her Granddaughters, Jennifer & Kimberly Markham of Holiday, FL and Claire Saunders of Thomaston, CT, Grandsons, Justin & Michael Markham of Muncie, IN & Raymond Meceli of California. Patricia's newest hobby of Skyping was shared with her great grandchildren. She will also live forever in their hearts which include Lindsey Sutherland, Anthony Simpson- Goodwin & Jayson Goodwin of Indiana, Mason Markam, Gavin & Zoey Levi of Holiday, FL & Candace Saunders, Thomaston, IN
