It seems like just yesterday when we last stayed with Aunt Pat and Uncle George, September 2012..... I think about Aunt Pat all the time and Uncle George who is now with her.... one of the visits we had a couple of years before, we all went to Hellderado in Tombstone, on Aunt Pat's birthday, and enjoyed a tall, cold draft in Big Nose Kate's Saloon.... it was always such a pleasure to stay with Pat & George... and June, 2009, Aunt Pat and Uncle George made the trip to Canada and stayed with us in Toronto.... the first thing that Aunt Pat said in the morning is, "where's the coffee" not sure why but, I always smile when I remember that...my younger brother, Marty, here in Canada, also visited and stayed with them.... sadly he has passed as well... I miss all of you!
All my love, Romani Bays (niece) xo

Happy heavenly birthday Pat. It seems like yesterday that we last texted. George has now joined you. Mom is doing well, but prepared any time. Shauna joined dad 5 years ago and I'm sure you've seen her. God's blessings on you. I miss you.

Happy birthday Aunt Pat... every year at this time I remember when Bob and I would visit you around your birthday and go to Tombstone for 'Helldorado', watch the funny Ok Coral antics, visit Big Nose Kate's Saloon and have a beer together.. what great memories! Doesn't seem like the almost 3 years since you moved on.. seems like it was just yesterday we sat out on your lovely screened porch enjoying your company. You have always been such a warm beacon in this family!
Love you always, your niece, Romani xoxo

Aunt Pat, was a shining light, and lived life to the fullest! I remember her taking care of my Mom Betty Bays, in her home when she was very sick. My husband Fred, was in the Army our 3 children & I flew home from Germany! Uncle George & her wouldn't hear of us getting a hotel & freely opened their home to us! She & I had long talks together. Somehow the world is a little less bright! Love

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Bays family. I am so sad to hear the news that Patricia has passed. Patricia found me on ancestry.com and we had communicated via email several times. She sent me a picture of my Grandmother, and gave me a bit of family history that I had never known. Although I didn't know Patricia very well, I could tell that she was an extraordinary person.

I sublet an office at the Bays Law firm for about 6 months over 12 years ago, and Patricia was the heart and soul of that firm. My heart goes out to everyone in Sierra Vista who knew her and loved her.

Nana's presence in my life was too brief. I came to know her through my dear Morgan and grandson Rowan Bays Grossman who is her great-grandson. Whenever she traveled to Bainbridge Island I was able to visit with her and come to know why she is so beloved by so many. I am grateful that the arc of her life touched mine and will continue to live in and through her family members.

We saw the obituary in the paper today.  When Connie worked for attorneys in Sierra Vista she often had dealings with Patricia at Bays Law. We are sorry to hear of the family's loss and our prayers and thoughts are with you.

Barb, myself and many of us grew up under Aunt Patricias' tutelage. She was a patient wise and gentle woman, especially with children.i never ever heard her swear. She became one of the essential elements that glued this family together. She fought the good fight and she kept her faith to the end. We will miss her dearly. Alice and Barb

I'm stunned, I don't know what to say. I've never been very good at handling these things. While I'm so sorry to learn of her passing, but somehow gladdened in my heart that Romani, Bob and I made it out to see Aunt Pat and Uncle George and the rest of the bays family in September. I wish I could be there to hug you all.

"You are in our thoughts and prayers. Aunt Pat will forever live in our hearts and memories: the times shared, over birthdays, Easter and Christmas. I will always cherish the last moments we shared together over lunch talking about our children and grandchildren. She never complained, was always strong and positive...an inspiration to us all. God bless you all.. Love you Peru Family

What a beautiful person! Although I haven't seen Aunt Pat in awhile, my heart aches for myself and the family. Aunt Pat was rare when it comes to wisdom, expression of kindness and love. As a young woman I looked up to her and she influenced my life. I will miss her and feel a little lonely in this world without her. I love you. Ms. Dee Dee A. Briones - STL

I remember how warm and welcoming she always was during high school when we would invariably end up out in the canyon to hang out at the Bays' place. And I remember how happy she was when the addition was built way back in the 80s. For some reason, one of my fondest memories was laying a brick sidewalk out back with Dave by the garden bench for miss Pat. Prayers for you all.
