Words can not express the sadness that our entire family feels with the loss of such an incredible and inspiring lady. We had the honour of Patti teaching all four of our children and each one had a special and unique relationship with "Mrs. Fleger". Over the years, Patti became a very good friend and we enjoyed many great chats, teaching moments, parenting moments and a lot of laughter and "wisdom" was shared. Patti was such a kind and gentle soul and her love for children and ability to really listen to their little voices and hearts, made her the "teacher everyone wanted to have!" I will cherish the memories of our last trip to Phoenix together, forever. The shopping was fun but the pool side chats were the best! We will miss you Patti. xoxo Joanne

Patti Fleger taught both our children in Grade One at St. Monica. I was always impressed by her unflappable spirit and deep respect for the budding learners we entrusted to her care. I also had the pleasure of teaching her son Shawn, a caring gentle young man. Our family is devastated by the loss of such a strong, beautiful human being!
