23 years ago we loss our Rock. Dad was an amazing father that I wish was here with us today. He worked hard to provide for our family. I am grateful he was able to see his first grand-baby Gerry Ulmer Jr. and wish he was able to see his amazing grand-daughter Brittney. I know he looks down from the Heaven above over us all. I love you and miss you Dad. ❤ ❤ ❤

23 YEARS ALREADY THAT YOU BECAME AN ANGEL. CAN'T BELIEVE HOW TIME GOES BY SO QUICKLY. YOU ALWAYS SAID CINDY AS YOU GET OLDER THE TIME GOES QUICKER. I ALWAYS LAUGHED AT YOU. YOU WERE RIGHT. NOW I THINK THERE ISN'T ENOUGH TIME IN A DAY. AS I GET OLDER I LOOK BACK ON THOSE CONVERSATIONS AND THINK HOW IT WENT BY SO QUICKLY. 23 LONG MISERABLE YEARS WITHOUT YOU. WE ALL WISH YOU WERE HERE WITH US. THINGS ARE SO DIFFERENT. THE VOID IN OUR LIFE JUST SITS THERE. I REMEMBER THE GOOD TIMES. I SHARE THEM WITH MY FAMILY WITH TEARS IN MY EYES. MOM IS LONELY WITHOUT YOU. THE LOVE OF HER LIFE IS MISSED EVERY DAY, EVERY MINUTE. WE MISS YOU VERY MUCH. THE HOLIDAYS AREN'T THE SAME IF THERE IS A HOLIDAY. THERE ARE SO MANY HOLIDAYS THAT HAS PASSED AND NO CELEBRATION. I COULDN'T KEEP MY PROMISE TO YOU. I'M SO SORRY. I TRIED.  NOW THIS PANDEMIC DON'T HELP MATTERS. WE'RE PRAYING NONE OF US GET IT, SO WE ARE HERE TO RAISE OUR GRANDCHILDREN, CHILDREN AND TO HELP MOM. WE TRY TO HELP AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.  SO PLEASE DAD WATCH OVER OUR FAMILY AND GUIDE US TO DO RIGHT. WATCH OVER US WITH PANDEMIC AND HEALTH ISSUES THAT WE ALL HAVE. I'M TRYING TO CARRY ON BUT ITS HARD SINCE THE FIRE, I DID DIE A COUPLE OF TIMES. BUT I WAS BROUGHT BACK. I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT I GUESS I'M NEEDED. I DO FEEL I'M AT THE END OF THE LINE. BUT I'M HERE. WHY I DON'T KNOW WHY. THINGS HAVE CHANGED SO MUCH IN MY LIFE IT PITIFUL. I HATE CHANGES BECAUSE THEY'RE ALWAYS BAD FOR ME. SO PLEASE SHOW ME THE WAY. WE CARRY YOU IN OUR HEARTS, EVERY DAY AND EVERYWHERE. WE ALL LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU.

his Life

MY FATHER PAUL MARVIN GENTZLER 1935-1997

MY FATHER WAS BORN AUGUST 28, 1935.  TO THE PROUD PARENTS PAUL AND MARY FRANKFORD MEASE GENTZLER.  DAD WAS BORN WITH A OPEN HEART SO HE HAD TO STAY IN THE HOSPITAL  OVER A YEAR.  DAD WAS THE YOUNGEST OF 10 CHILDREN.  HIS SIBLINGS WERE MARGARET ALICE, DOROTHY MAE, GLADYS LAVERNE, KATHRYN ELIZABETH, RICHARD LEROY, CLAIRE BERNICE, GEORGE CHARLES, CLYDE EDWARD, DOLORES JUNE GENTZLER.

DAD WAS ALWAYS A HARD WORKING GUY.  FROM YOUNG TO HIS RETIREMENT.  HE WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR ANYONE.  HE LOVED HIS FAMILY NO MATTER WHAT.  SOMETIMES FRUSTRATED WITH THEM..........BUT HE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR THEM.

MOM AND DAD MET AT A BEAN SOUP FESTIVAL IN YORK COUNTY.  THEY HIT IT OFF AUTOMATICALLY.   MOM SAID SHE WAS PUSHING HER COUSIN IN A STROLLER.  DAD SAID HE WAS PUT OFF BY THAT AT FIRST.  HOPING SHE WASN'T TAKEN AND HAD A CHILD.  I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT WAS FUNNY.
