Still miss you, think of you and pray for you my childhood best friend. So many memories and years we spent together, engraved on my heart. I know I will see you in Heaven, you will probably be at the gate wondering what took me so long to catch up.

I remember a time when we were just kids, so tender and sweet, we were at the bungalow and we asked Grandma if Joann and I could stay the night with you. Grandma said yes, we all got excited. Then night time came and it was pouring out. We asked Grandma if we can go to the store and get some snacks, she gave us money and you ran out to the back deck saying you’ll get an umbrella so we can stay dry. Joann and I met you out front and there you were with the biggest umbrella of all. We laughed so hard our tummies hurt, the umbrella was from the picnic table! We were so young and small we probably could have fit all of Grandma’s twenty something grand children under there! So we went to the store on the boulevard jumping and splashing in the puddles. Our feet were soaked but at least our heads were dry.

The Broken Chain

We didn't know that morning
God was going to call your name
In life we loved you dearly
In death we do the same
It broke our hearts to lose you
You did not go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home
You left us beautiful memories
Your love is still our guide
And though we cannot see you
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same

May you R.I.P. Penny , you were a sweet,loving and caring person who will be missed by all who knew you.

I first met Penny at Greg and Danielle's wedding when someone tapped me on my shoulder and dragged me onto the dance floor. at the time I didn't realize that she was Danielle's sister but this lady had so much energy, and TOTALLY out-danced me. After dancing to several songs I eventually had to beg for a timeout to catch my breath. WOW!! She had so much energy. 

I'm sorry that I didn't get a chance to know her better but she was obviously an incredible person, and full of life!

Rest In Peace, Penny, and I know that you will never be forgotten.
