TRIBUTE BY SISTERS
"Death is the liberator of whom freedom cannot release
the physician of whom medicine cannot cure, the Comforter of whom time cannot console"
Thanks to everyone for being here today to pay your last respects to our brother T. K. Tuesday, 20th September will ever remain indelible in our minds as the day that our lives were permanently changed and shattered forever. It was the day we unexpectedly lost our only and eldest brother.
Even though T.K. wasn't well, we were optimistic that he will get better but it wasn't meant to be. TK, if love alone could have saved your life, then you wouldn't have died because our Mother did everything she could possibly do. We are deeply grieved by your departure nevertheless we are consoled in the fact that God Knows Best.
We had an affectionate relationship with our brother. Perry "Opoku" as he called himself had a great sense of humor. His most popular greeting was "Good day" "Good day", followed by one of his numerous jokes. As an uncle, he had an excellent relationship with his nieces and nephews. He picked them up every now and then for a nice treat, which they enjoyed so much and those times were great bonding moments for them.
As much as he liked to crack jokes and make us laugh, he was a disciplinarian too. When he got angry, his facial expression and the way he spoke reminded us of our late Father. T. K., we knew how active and hardworking you were but like most humans, you had your share of challages.
Your untimely death is a big blow to us your sisters and we are yet to come to terms with the brutal fact that you are no longer with us. You have thrown us into untold agony, tears and pain. The void you've created can never be filled, since memories are the cushions of life, we will forever cherish fond memories of you and always have a place in our hearts for you.
"May the souls of the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God Rest in Perfect Peace".
T. K., WE LOVE YOU BUT GOD LOVES YOU MORE.
BRO T. K., WO JOGBAN YE NUNTSO LE KPOKOIAMLI.
