Today would be my father’s 91st birthday - it's our 1st Dec. 7 without him. We honored him by going to a Basque restaurant in the Lower East Side he had wanted to try.

What a lovely tribute/obituary to Pete. I was lucky to meet Pete at the Columbia University squash courts in the early 1990s. We played squash together, regularly since our first meeting, for several years. I was a PhD student at Columbia, in History at the time. We remained in touch after I moved to Malaysia, our last email correspondence being in early 2021. Pete sent me a picture of him frolicking in the sun with his grandchildren. It was precious. Rest in Peace Pete.
