Even after eleven years, the void created by his death cannot be filled. At least his spirit seems to help (laugh) when I work on home repairs...

Today, I'm missing my dad's gentle wisdom and sense of humor while remembering him on what would have been his 99th birthday.

My dad left us 10 years ago tonite, but he continues to be remembered, quoted and fondly recalled by the many family and friends he touched with his humor and down-to-earth gentle ways. I think of him and miss him every single day.

As I'm now past 70 myself, and am following in your footsteps, I spend a lot of time thinking about what a good guy you were and how you aged with such dignity and grace.

Today is the 98th anniversary of my dad's birth. Although he has been gone nearly nine years, he is talked about, quoted and remembered every single day. He'd get a big kick out of all of his great grand-kids. We miss him and we will celebrate his life today.

Remembering Peter today. I just hope I can be half as good a grandpa and father in law as Peter.

Hey Dad:  Every day, I'm getting more and more to be just like you. I miss you and wish we could have gone sailing one more time.

Nine years ago today my dad left us. He continues to be missed, remembered and celebrated every single day.

I dreamt about my dad the other night, a few days before his 97th birthday. I know that his spirit is as content and vibrant and confident as he was in the dream. I remember him every day and don't ever want to forget his gentle personality, his kindness, his sense of humor or his resourcefulness.

I miss you, Dad. 

I'm getting ready to make my dad's special beets with horseradish that we will eat with pierogies on Christmas Eve and I'm wishing he were here to enjoy them with us. I have missed him every single day for the past eight years.

Almost every time I am out alone on the boat, miles and miles away from anyone, I think back to the peace and calm when it was just you & me & the dog. Not many words were ever said, just good vibes. I miss you , Dad. 

Happy birthday, Grandpa! Wish you were sitting in the backyard drinking a beer with Mike while the kids played in the pool.

Thinking of Dad on his 96th birthday. Missing him every single day. Pretty sure his response to the sentiment would be "shee-it!"

Happy birthday, Dad. I miss you. I wonder how you would have handled this COVID thing.

I remember the many things he fixed and maintained around our house while I was working long hours, the many sporting events we attended together, and his many sayings that were a bit corny but contained much wisdom. It's hard to believe 7 years have passed. Miss you Peter!

Every trip to Home Depot or project in the house or yard is an opportunity to reminisce and remember his wisdom and humor.  He is sorely missed EACH AND EVERY DAY.

My dad would have been 95 years old today. His wisdom, jokes and witty sayings continue to educate, entertain and amuse us. He is missed and remembered every single day!

We constantly recall something about him, including his favorite foods, his witty sayings and his sense of humor. So many things are reminders of him - including his tools in the garage, his favorite Cheetos, home grown oranges in the winter, and trips to Home Depot. At this time of year, we especially remember his "famous" beets with horseradish (to accompany the pierogies my mom made). Every single day, my dad is missed and appreciated.

Today was our first Father's Day with our new granddaughter and our fifth without my Dad. We miss him everyday!! I'm sure he would enjoy his second great-granddaughter!

Our family and friends will be remembering and celebrating my dad's 94th birthday tomorrow with some of the things that remind us of him - cribbage, cheetos, beer and barbequed hamburgers. Anyone who loved him is welcome!

Hi grandpa. Mike and I had Evvie almost a month ago. I thought you would be happy to know that her middle name is Rose, after your sister. The best part of Evvie is that she has your forehead. She's got these deep wrinkles even though she's so little. You two would get along famously. Love you.

We had a special dinner in your honor tonight- pierogies, onions and beets. And Mikey had a beer for you! It will never be the same without you, though. We miss you buddy.

May 7 is my Dad's day. Hard to believe he was born 92 years ago...and left us 3 1/2 years ago. His wit and wisdom are remembered and missed every single day. Trips to Home Depot without him are not nearly as much fun as they were when he came along....

Peter, you are still constantly in our thoughts, and your influence on all of us will always be present.
