Got so much to say how much I miss and respect you… you are on my desktop since that day, and I see you daily. Still I will be in tears when I see PJP folder in clients machine, when troubleshooting profitoptimiser and also even now when Clients talks about you.

Miss you a lot and Thank you Legend.

Pete you left us 12 months ago today, and how ironic i am putting together your favorite - online tax webinar today.

I miss your genuineness to help anyone from customer to colleague to a mate, our discussions on the ever changing world of tax products in market, hours we spent talking about bikes, your stories and animated gestures and much more some i won't say in a public forum.

Here's a glass of Coke Zero to you mate, miss you and will forever be grateful for all the memories.

One year since you left us Platty and it still doesn’t feel real. But just wanna say I miss you and thank you for the memories.

I miss your rants, I miss listening to what you had to say, because when you said something you always said it with power & conviction and that is something I have learnt from you. And I miss our after work drinks in the office as we shared a nice dram of whisky while we talked about our week.

Miss you and thank you

Sunny

The irony in posting a story about Peter was he ALWAYS had a story to tell, and he loved telling them. He would tell a better story than I could.

One of my first interactions with Peter was about 11 years ago. I was working in the old M-Powered Fulfilment team, one of my colleagues had declined an invoice template adjustment and Peter happened to be working with the customer who thentold Peter about it. He printed out the invoice and the decline email, walked down to level 3 (Burwood Office) and right up to my colleagues desk, slammed the paper on the desk and yelled “what the bloody hell does this mean?”. I offered to help him out because everyone was scared to deal with him. To be fair the restrictions on what was allowed on those payment invoices was very strict but we found a way around them to make it work. From then on he always came directly to me with similar issues that required out of the box solutions, because he knew that we both wanted to do whatever we could for the customer.

He was passionate about doing the right thing, was not afraid to speak up about what he believed in and would do anything for those in need. His answer whenever I asked for help was “anything for you!”.
