My dear sister Tina: You were the sister I grew up with, the other 4 sisters were already married and had kids. You were a timid, shy, but resourceful girl. Until, that is, when I'd borrow your clothes without asking . We shared a bedroom and would talk sometimes for a long while after lights out. But soon enough you were a teenager and off to highschool. I was 5 years younger and left alone in school. But I was always compared to you by the teachers we both had. Sometimes good, sometimes not so much. When I was 16, you got married in the Swedish Cemetery in Worcester. You wore a bright burnt orange long dress with a hood and orange fur lining the hood. Between the headstones and your orange dress, it was a most memorable day. Leave it to you to think outside the box. You were a talented painter as well. I missed you so much when you moved south. I cried. But I hid it. I missed your girls who I helped you with from day 1. Naomi came home from the hospital with you to our family home just before the blizzard of '78. I had a great time. We had many memorable times. You were a very kind and loving sister. I pray you are no longer in pain and look down and watch over your girls and your grandchildren. Until we meet again dear sis. .
