My memories of Philo go back to our time working together at AOL, Dublin. Philo and I both worked at opposite ends of Floor 9 in the Heuston building. We were both early risers and so would get into the office before 8am most mornings. Often we were the only two people in the office at that time of the day and we would have loud conversations sitting at our desks across the floor with the automatic ceiling lights solely illuminated over our respective desks. I remember it fondly as our nice little shared moment when we felt like slightly naughty school children left alone in the class without a teacher :-) Philo was generous of her time and like many people I often went to her when I needed help with my Mac, hoping to repay her in some way with Jamon Serrano on visits back from Spain. If the most important things we can do as people are positively impact those we leave behind and leave fond memories, then I can say without a doubt that Philo Taig had a truly awesome life.
