His Life

Raymond Anthony Krzyzek, A Bon Vivant, Dies at 65

Ray Krzyzek, whose smile, charm and quick wit made him the highlight in any room he entered, was a beloved father, partner, friend and entrepreneur died Wednesday February 24, 2021 in Massachusetts. He was 65.

His love of Hawaiian print shirts and the ability to make a meaningful connection with anyone made him an icon wherever he went.

Ray had a mind that never slowed down and his innovative ideas showed that. He had a love for the little joys of life such as food, sports, art, drawing, suave fashion, and engaging with people. At a young age Ray fell in love with the art of basketball and pursued that career until he reached a semi professional level. Following several knee injuries he realized that he needed to switch his passions but never fell out of love with sports and always gave advice to those willing to learn.

There was never a dull moment when discussing sports with Ray whether it was football and his deep love for the Patriots, the Celtics or the Oakland A’s and Red Sox.  Ray was the first to jump at an opportunity to provide advice regarding sports, whether that was to angle the arm a little higher, run a little faster, or squash the bug a little harder and provided endless insight for those who sought advice from him.  Anyone who knew Ray knew his love for food and cooking was unmatched. Many hours in his life were spent over the stove always testing and creating new dishes that would put any TV culinary chef to shame.

Passion, smarts and creativity were the driving forces behind Ray's life that allowed him to advocate and help everyone he met from both friends, family and strangers alike in hopes to make the world a better and safer place

Ray met many individuals in his life but there was never a person that he didn’t consider a friend. Compassion was one of his greatest virtues and his love was endless for those around him. He will be greatly missed but the love that he showed and was shown to him will always be remembered and cherished.
