To Thomas and all of Ray Fletcher’s family - there are no exact words that can say what needs to be said to all of you at this time. Ray was such a good man and it showed in his laugh, his actions and his words. His outreach to his country through his involvement with the Shriners, Masons, the Veterans Association and his other organizations, demonstrated what a big heart he had for helping others and giving back to a country that he was proud enough to serve. Ray Fletcher also loved his family. His devotion as a husband and a father was so clear and even spilled over with his love for his best dog Buddy. There was no doubt that losing Emma and then Buddy hurt him deeply. But he maintained fiercely to his faith so he could be the father and guiding example his son and friend “Tommy” needed. Ray was a strong man and he loved all of his sisters and family. Though they may not have seen each other daily, they all knew how important they were to him. Family was everything to Ray and he has instilled this quality in his son. No doubt he will be missed but the one thing everyone knows is that Ray and Emma raised Thomas with a strong set of values and he will carry this with him now through all these hard days ahead. Ray, rest easy my friend. Your work here on this earth is now done.
