ForeverMissed

Our beloved companion, friend, watchdog and joy died on May 10, 2017.  She was a board our boat when it burned to a total loss.  Her remains were found and we brought her home to bury her in the spot she guarded with love.   She has left an empty hole in our hearts and in our home.

Reina you lived your life with purpose and adventure.  Adventures filled your soul as it does ours.  You never backed down from what you loved whether it was chasing crabs on the beach, fishing, traveling in the boat and car, welcoming people at the front door and so much more.  Who will alert us of a fish on?  You were a light that needed to shine and you did.  Every little cell that jumped, literally, for joy at the sight of us.  You didn't just walk you ran.  You loved to snuggle and give kissees.

As your grave site marker says, "Your little paws have left big prints on our hearts."

We love and miss you so much.

Dear Cheryl and Will,
What a gift she was and a special light in your lives.
I am sure Teddy greeted her upon her arrival in heaven.
We are all on this earth for just a moment. But those who have gone before us are always in our hearts.
With much love

Dear Cheryl and Will....  I do believe that Reina was keeping time with her paw when you played the guitar for those special Christmas Carols. And she surely was aware of the words of your special book as we took turns reading the Christmas Story. I think we should celebrate Christmas every day as we remember our special times with Reina.

Reina, you will be sorely missed - such a little sweetheart and so friendly to all of us who appeared at the Harman's door. How lucky they were to have you as a member of their family.

Darling Reina:

I've always said that GOD (who ALWAYS gets it right), REALLY got it right when HE created our companion animals. You, little pup, brought so much happiness to all those who met you. Such a fun-loving, funny, loving, yet fiercly protective and devoted family member who loved your humans dearly and broght them endless joy. Never afraid of anything, you were the lucky one to have had such precious "parents" who could take you to places so many never get to see.You thoroughly embraced them all!

May you forever romp and play in the sunshine on the azure hills of Heaven. Find all of those creatures we, too, have been lucky enough to have loved and who are now with you. Teach them your sweet ways.

You will never be forgotten, Reina. We feel blessed to have had you in OUR lives too.

Love, as ever--

So Many Wonderful Family Memories with Reina over the years! She was always a ball of joy bouncing and running around the family as we enjoyed our time together, but always willing to take a break from some good petting! Loved her zeal for life and miss her!

Let us remember her with joy not sadness
Jesus is with us always especially during difficult times. He was with Reina and now she is playing with those animals who have left the earth before her, and she is now sharing her joy with them.

What a darling, precious love was Reina Harman ! She made all of happy when we walk in the room--a glorious little Spirit.
I learned from the Book of Joy you gave Rob and I at our last visit: "grief is the reminder of the depth of our love". As she loved all so sweetly, we all know Reina was deeply loved, creating so many great memories for you and Will to cherish forever.

Dear Will and Cheryl -

My name is Reggie Aiken and I was Lindsey and Alex's dog when they were born until I had to pass a few years ago due to illness. Reina is with me in heaven now. I never met her before she came to heaven but I can tell she was a great loyal pet, friend, and companion to not only you guys but everyone she met. She had a great life I must say from what she tells me!! I know you will miss her dearly but please know I have gained a dear friend and will take care of her. She, as I, will be looking over you guys, and our whole family, from above. She tells me she loves you very much and will always be with you in spirit. With love from both of us, Reggie

Reina was a spunky, fun, little member of the Harman family. She was a lot of fun to be with. She had the sweetest face and we have great pictures of her from our visit to the Keys. Our hearts are saddened by her death and for you. It is so hard to have a pet die at the end of her life, but to lose Reina so suddenly and unexpectedly makes it even sadder.

Our whole family loved Reina more that words can express. She was such a fun-loving dog with a TON of personality! She was also tough - one of our favorite memories of her was when we took her for a walk and we passed by another dog. Even though that dog was 5 times her size, Reina wanted to tell him who was boss. As she was barking right in the other dogs face, the men walking him got a good chuckle because Reina actually made their dog shy away!
She will be greatly missed.

Reina is beloved by our whole family adding her perky and adorable personality to all events. She was such a comfort to me during the time I stayed with her while Grandy was recovering from her broken hip in a nearby rehab hospitals. She would sit on my foot when I was catching up with computer work after I left the hospital seeming in her own way to offer support and comfort during a difficult time. Reina you are so missed and certainly not forgotten. Love, Aunt Linda

We know that the amount of love Reina has for you is immense, as yours is for her, and that she would want you to know that it is absolutely unbreakable. You are not in this life alone. She still has and will always have, a very direct connection with you.

We know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the three of you will be together again because she will be the first person to greet you when you transition some day. She is with you all the time. She will never leave your side.

I will miss Reina so much. She was a wondering, loving dog. I loved rubbing her belly and having her greet me excitedly whenever I visited. Throwing her ball and having her run back with it. Watching her dig in the sand for crabs. Snuggling with her on the couch. Such wonderful memories. She made the world a happier place. Will love her always.

"Sweet Reina, Will and Cheryl,
With a "Heavy Heart", I offer my deepest and sincere condolences.
For 11 years, twice a week, Reina greeted me at the door with joy and love. Simply, that was Reina. She made my day brighter, my heart and troubles lighter. We spent countless times on the floor playing.
Memories, that will never leave my heart and mind. Neither will you, Reina!
Rest in peace sweet girl. You are greatly missed.

We always remember Reina being a part of all our family gatherings because she was part of the family. She was so happy, spunky, joyful and always ready to volunteer herself for some scratching and petting! Some of our fondest memories are of her traveling with us in the boat, car and her little doggy carry bag. She will be very missed!

Reina was a little dog with a tremendous heart! She always managed to "get along" in Will's bike basket, in Cheryl's Beamer or on the Cheryl Ann. To know Reina was to love her. Rest well little girl you have been dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to know you.

Dearest Cheryl and Will,

This is such a special tribute to little Reina! So sweet! I love all of her photos, especially the ones on the boat. I know you will miss her presence in your lives for years to come. Our pets are family members and missed for their unconditional love, friendship and companionship. Reina I'm sure was so attentive and sweet just like our Molly.

How lucky you were to have her in your lives for the time you did. Such a blessing. Please know that we feel and share the pain of her loss and share our deepest sympathies with you.

All out love and support in this difficult transition time.

Always excited to see people, rolling over for belly rubs and giving lots of kisses and talking. I know how much Cheryl and Will love her and pray their grief is as gentle as can be. My heart aches for them. Rest in peace Reina.

Reina will find great joy when she meets my Cheerio. She reminded me of him.., more than abundant energy, a great protector and an example of love. Dogs learn the important stuff early on. .. and try desperately to teach us. Treasured paw prints on our hearts forever.
