THE MAN NAPOLEON DIVINE, AS I REMEMBER HIM
The Liberian Community in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has suffered a great loss in the untimely passing of one of the pillars of the community, Rev. Dr. Napoleon Divine. Rev. Divine's presence was felt in every community impacting event, especially in times of grief, and sorrow where his counseling skills, and experience came in handy. Rev. Divine was one of the few Liberians who did not allow ethnicity to influence his decisions; if you were a Liberian, he reached out to you. Liberia needs many more Rev, Dr. Napoleon Divine’s That is why I would like to avail of this medium to express my sincere condolence to Dr. Patricia Divine Jackson, Samuel Divine, and through them the entire Divine family my deepest condolence, and pray that God will grant them strength to sustain this loss. Finally, I would be remiss if I fail to call on every patriotic Liberian to step in the shoes of this great son of Liberia, Rev. Dr. Napoleon Divine in forging a better Liberian Community void of ethnic rivalry, and bigotry
