Passed away in Fresno on December 8, 2002 at the age of 23. Ricardo was born in Madera where he has been a lifelong resident and a graduate of Madera High School in the Class of 1998. Ricardo attended St. Joachim Catholic Church, was a member of the Charros Unidos, and was an assistant wrestling coach at Martin Luther King Middle School all in Madera.

Ricardo is survived by his parents Alvaro and Bertha Lopez of Fresno, and Alicia and Ernie Lucero of Madera, his girl friend Deanna Tejeda and his son �R.J.� Lopez both of Madera. He is the grandson of Jesse and Sally Lopez and Maria Costilla and the great grandson of Sara Lopez all of Madera. He is the brother of Al Lopez, Ernie Lucero, Monica Lopez Avila, Lisa Lopez, Leticia Lopez, Sara Lopez, Rebecca Lucero, Amber Lucero, Desiree Lucero, Nicole Lucero, Mercedes Lucero all of Madera, and Christian Lopez and Deanna Lopez both of Fresno.
