I will never forget that one of the last things you got to say to me "I'm proud of you,dude." That meant the world to me. I miss you more than you can imagine.

I will always be daddy's little girl, and maybe one day make you proud. I love and miss you so much.

I remember back when I was in 8th grade, my class went on some kind of retreat for the day. The assignment called for our dads, or guardians to write a letter to the child, that we would read to ourselves that day. I remember seeing all my classmates with pages and pages of writing, but I only had a single torn bit of paper. I was sad and a bit jealous. Then, I read what the piece of paper had said. "I WOULDN'T TRADE YOU FOR ANYTHING IN THE WORLD." It was at that moment, that I no longer felt sad, or jealous, but proud. It took less than ten words for Pa to let me know that I was loved by him. I hold those words close to my heart to this day.

Pa, you, Ma, Becky, and Edward offered me your home as my home away from home with open arms. I am honored to have shared many dinners and laughs with you. I enjoyed playing with Silly with you, and just hanging out. You were one of the best men I've known. I'm praying for your soul, and for your family.
