R.I.P. Kimball

Holding you in the light, Kimball, as you passed, and Judy as she stayed by you, "steady as she goes." Feeling your friendship, sensing your spirit going on ahead, as Brad and I watched the Hatea River flow by, here in Whangarei, New Zealand, glittering in the sunshine as sailing yacht, "Evening Star," pulled into view. And the next day, we got your watercolor painting in the sky, "Kimball's Rainbow" appeared and reminded us of the beauty of passages, changes in light and life. I told you many times, and here once again for the record, I am forever grateful for the opportunities you opened up for me and my family at George School. You were the best "boss" as Business Manager at George School and I am only one of the many people who benefited far beyond imagination from your astute leadership. Dear Kimball,
I will miss you. Thank you for your steady friendship, your impish humor, your attention to detail, your incomparable professionalism, and your dedication to the good we could do in the world through our shared passion, planned giving. Thank you for all the years (18?) we taught our planned giving seminar together and for all the notebooks we put together! The thread of our lives joins us together forever. Kudos to you for a life well-lived, my brother and friend. You are in my heart.
