Well, my brother, it's another year gone by and I still wish I could talk to ya just one more time. Hard to believe it's been almost 10 years since you left this earth for heaven. Can't figure out for the life of me why I am still here. Maybe one day you and I can take another motorcycle trip. I try my best to tell stories about you to all my friends that never had the chance to meet you. It helps me keep you close in my memories and my heart. Love Ya Mr. J

Well Ricky, I sure wish you were still here and could see the new boat Dad bought. He bought the Cadillacs of Flat bottoms and I am sure you would love it too. We had to get a bigger boat since him and I keep seeming to get bigger every year but its really a bad ass rig. I can only imagine the size of the Catfish where you are now must be huge and plenty and that makes me so jealous. We havent caught to many this year but we have tried and will keep on trying. We sure talk alot about you when were fishing on the river and can tell sometimes when your messing with us. You know a good man can be measured in many different ways but a big one is how many people miss and love him when he is gone and from that I have to say you are one of the GREATEST! We'll see you down on the Sabine brother. Love, Steve Jr.

I have to say this is still a sad day for all of us left behind on this earth. It's not the same without you here. I hope someday this will all make sense to me but for now, I just have to keep my faith that the good Lord needed you more than we did. Love Ya Mr Jackson

My Crazy Buddy

September 14, 2011

I met Ricky in I think in 1981 and we worked together for several years and one of his favorite things to do was to strike a pose and hike his pants as far up as he could get them and say

"Take a Picture of My Socks"

I have seen him do this many times and it never failed to get a good laugh. This is just how Jackson was he loved to have fun and he never passed up a chance to make ya laugh.
