Here's to Bobby, Pearl, Mutsy and Mabes who provided a place to go, have fun and just hang out, 'way back. I have great memories of those times at "Kings" with Pearl and her Guck and Coke, Mutsy at the door to greet us and the living room full of friends telling stories and watching TV together. I remember a back yard full of cars, Bob and John K.cracking bullwhips and Mutsy running back and forth trying to catch the sound. I remember Bob and his white '63 Chevy 409, racing down I-94 neck and neck with me in my red Plymouth with no winner.
Mutsy never did catch that football in the front yard games. Bob never did get the hang of that old Husky 250 I sold him and kept trying to break his neck out back of the house riding trails. Surely no more shooting cans out back of the house. Good times for sure.
Mabes, I hope you are well and that you know we all (Steve, John, Mark, Mike, Dalhoun, Fred, Teri and me) have a lot of great memories that you, Bob and Pearl created for us. One more toast for Pearl, Mutsy and now Bob. All gone but never forgotten. Here's to all of you! Warmest regards, Schroeder
