Robert was a simple man, as anyone who met him could tell within minutes. Actually very simple.  And not the Mark Twain, Mother Theresa , Abraham Lincoln kind of simple.  More like the Paris Hilton, Mike Tyson, or Jethro Bodean kind.

But he was quick to leave an impression, usually a bruise or perhaps a hickey, and that impression stayed with you for ever it seemed. Sort of the way the herpes virus stays hidden in you long after the sores go away......lingering, hiding, just waiting for the day to give you painful shingles.
