35 years ago today you closed your eyes for the last time, yet there are some days when it feels like it's only just happened.
I still miss you just as much today as I always have done since you passed away.
You were the closet thing to a father to me and also my guide and my teacher.
I always wanted you to be proud of me.
There are some people who I really do wish that you could have met properly but I do know that you are looking after them.
