Such sad news to learn of Robert's passing. We were classmates at St. Mary's Grade School and John Bapst High. He possessed that winning smile and fun personality. I too have lived far from Maine, but when I saw him at reunion gatherings he was so complimentary. At our 50th reunion I learned of his unfortunate accident, but even with challenges he was still very engaging. I so admired his courage and that of his wife Laurie as she lovingly cared for him. Obviously, Robert spent his life on earth well and truly made a difference in the lives he touched. His love for family, enjoyment of the out of doors and encouraging others to do the same is a marvelous legacy to leave. I'll be there in spirit when his life is celebrated in May. May God rest your soul Robert and shower your loved ones left on earth with peace.
