When our Purdy Lane Kingdom Hall was under construction I remember working together with Bob in individual projects like drywall and piping. But what I enjoyed the most of those times was laughing and the many stories that Bob told. Specially since he grew up in the same are I did. He was a good friend and I look forward to seeing him again.

My family & I will truly miss Bob. Sometimes after the assembly or Memorial, we would go out to dinner with Bob & Yan. We always had a good time. Bob would school us about the different types of steaks, talk about his carpentry work, arts & crafts, and of course, the racing cars & his cool tools & work shed. (My husband Cosme loved talking to him about the tools & woodwork because they could talk for hours about that lol) Bob truly spoke to others as if we've all known each other for years & made you feel comfortable talking to him. We're all looking forward to when Jehovah awakes him & we can spend time with him again.

Who can forget the story about the bikers Bob found in the territory?  Thehwere big and looked intimidating but Bob mustered up the courage to talk to them. Little did he know how receptive they would be to what he was saying about God’s word. He certainly was an example of putting faith and courage inJehovah!
