It is so great to read these stories and it keeps Bobby's memory forever alive in our hearts and minds. At the end of the day, each of us hopes we have made those lasting memories and impacts on others as we travel through our life not knowing or even trying to make any kind of impression on others in just the day-to-day living of our lives. In reading your thoughts, stories, and memories it shows the influences that Bobby's life had on those he touched and for these we are thankful.

Dear Basham family, we were neighbors to Bob & Dorothy when Bobby was young and Bob Sr worked for my dad many years. What a wonderful family, we had great fun with them and loved them dearly. As tears of sorrow fall here on earth for our loss, tears of joy are falling in heaven welcoming Bobby to his heavenly home. God bless your family, may you find great comfort in the life he lived well.

Bobby was a giving, wonderful man. He had simple wants and needs but gave so much more to family and friends. He was a true friend to many.

Bob took Jeremy and I fishing. I remember being scared of everything, the fish, the worm, the hook, Bob was so patient, one of the best, father figure memories I have. Thank Bob for always making me feel loved and included. Always Beverly

Bobby was a very special cousin and through out our lives we spent so much time together. Julie, one of my favorite memories, was the time we spent in Friendship,IN. He will be greatly missed, but always loved. My heart and love go out to you for the care and sacrifices you and Jeremy made for him. We'll never forget him, and will always love him. He was one of kind.

You will be missed. A memory I have of Bobby: When my husband, Bill was in basic for the Air Force, my brother-in-law Ron took me out to Uncle Bob & Aunt Dorothy's to spend a day. In the evening Bobby asked if I wanted to go rabbit hunting with him. I asked him where his gun was. He stated that he didn't need one. All three of us got in the truck and headed out into tall brush. A rabbit jumped out in front of the truck and with one swift move of the steering wheel he got him, never injuring the body. He hopped out and threw the rabbit in the bed of the truck, looked at me with that huge grin, winked and said, "there's one, let's get some more".  RIP Bobby. A great guy.
