A story I must share from long ago (not even sure the Hatch family knew this one). In 1967, I met Beverly (Bob's younger sister) while at N. Farmington HS. We "dated", in a HS kinda way & I got to know Bob, but my family moved to A2 later that year. 5 years later, with Bev finishing college @ UM, and me going from HS puberty to full-blown A2 hippie, I was at the Odyssey Lounge in A2 (local dive my band played at regularly) shooting pool in the back. Up comes Bob, somehow recognizing me & my shoulder-length hair & said, "Hey Darryl, Bev's here with me". The rest is history....dating, marriage, family! YOU, Robert Ray, changed my life that night, and continued to have such a positive influence on our family (along with Laura, Kelly & Trevor) as they grew up and especially after losing Bev in 2009. You've been a true Brother & a Hero in my life. Your legacy will bring joy in my life, and that of our family, until we re-unite in Heaven. I love you....&, of course, GO BLUE!!
