Uncle Bob, you were a man who had a frequent smile and a hearty laugh. I will always remember how you rolled out the red carpet for me and my siblings shorty after our move from Chicago by loading us into your Rambler station wagon along with your kids and taking us to the SF Zoo for a fun filled day!  See you again in heaven!

Dear Uncle Bob,
You were a shining light to me, growing up. You had such an open, generous heart that delighted in showing the love of God to everyone. You and Aunt Marie opened your home to me so many times when I hung out with Valli. I think of your jolly laugh and hope to hear you laugh again in heaven with our Lord one day.

Dear Uncle Bob, thank you for the love you showed everyone including me when I was a child. I remember you always having candy for the kids at Montclair Park when we had CIBC church picnics. I remember once you included me on one of your family Tahoe trips along with Jessica. I got car sick. Thanks for your jolly laugh and warm smile. We'l l have a happy reunion in heaven. Love, Jasmine

Uncle Bob lived such a real, down-to-earth life. I appreciated his example of godliness and care for others. Bob was the “heart” of the church – always welcoming, caring, comforting, encouraging -- a beautiful man. Our thoughts and prayers go to Marie and the rest of the family.

Dear Bob,

Time will ease your family's sorrow, tears to be wiped away, but your legacy remains and your wonderful stories will be remembered forever.

How comforting to know that Bob now enjoys all those promises now come true. He has fought the good fight and finished the race well. He was never ashamed of the Gospel. Bob shared how he would use his mornings by reading his Bible early before starting work. Funny how that bit of insight into Bob's life exemplifies great faith. Bob is now in the best company!

Uncle Bob,
I was among the many CIBC'ers who was greeted by your wonderful smile, words of welcome and cool golden tan =). You were the first person to show me how to serve as an usher by teaching me to take care of people, ensuring there were enough kleenex and cough drops and to ensure worship was always focused on God. God bless your family.

We will miss your warm smile and gentle greeting. Whenever I saw you, you had that special "Bob" smile. You were always so encouraging to all of us and we miss that. The legacy that you leave is great and we shall strive to carry on your legacy until we all meet again with The Lord

I knew Uncle Bob for a few years at CIBC in the 80's, but his smile and friendliness every time I saw him are forever etched in my mind. He was a man of God who lived out his faith in a very real and touching way. I know Jesus welcomes him with a "well done, good and faithful servant."

There is only two ways to remember Bob...as a man who loved God and loved others. He was an example of exactly what Jesus said were the two most important things. He did both well and will be missed.
To his precious family... especially dear Marie....praying for you during this time of loss. I love you all so very much. God Bless!

Thank you brother Bob, for all those years of fellowship with our Men's Prayer Breakfast Group where we shared much Love, Food, His Word, Prayer and Praise to our Lord. It was a grand time we had with each other of sharing and caring for one another. Goodnight and will see you later when we meet together at His feet.

Uncle Bob always cheerfully welcomed me when I was a little girl on the steps of CIBC and and would ask for a kiss on the cheek. I remember asking my mom why and she told me that it made him very happy. I know he's in a truly happy place right now and I will always remember his smile, warmth, and joy.

Dear Lim Family,

I was a young college student when I attended CIBC. For the seven years I was there, most sundays I was greeted by your dad. I didn't have too much contact w/him other than that, but his smile, his genuine care and love has stuck w/me till this day. Prayers of comfort for all!
