Her love for Maine!!

July 15, 2016

Robin's love for Maine started as a child when she would go on family vacations to visit aunts, uncles, and cousins in Milo, Maine. Her favorite was hanging out at camp on Schoodic lake and listening for the whistles from the train. She shared her love with her daughters. Couldn't wait for family reunions and reminiscing! Then her daughter Tanya started taking her farther north on trips together to go camping and moose and nature watching in Millinocket and the great Baxter State Park. On one trip we counted 20 on the dot PLUS a mama bear! What a trip that was! And it was a MUST to stop in on the Milo family and surprise them. Especially Aunt Sara and Uncle Tinker!  ❤ They were ALWAYS so welcoming! No matter what, you were welcomed with open arms and big hugs!! And if you stop and see one, the phone calls start and everyone starts showing up! It's the Milo way she'd say! ☺

Who was Robin?

July 15, 2016

Robin was good friend and went out of her way to help others, both human and animals alike! She had a passion for animals that included working as a vet tech with her sister, Linda. She also loved horses, owning a few over the years as well as volunteer work at many horse farms. She loved to ride with her daughter and teach her grandchildren. She worked at Willi Bowl where she also loved bowling on leagues with friends and family. It was there where she discovered the fun of karaoke with family and friends. She worked for many years at Town and Country Wines and Liquors in South Windham where she made countless friends and was introduced to the love of raising money and walking for the Relay for Life in honor of her father who passed from pancreatic cancer.
