I am grateful to have been able to call you My Dad! I thank you for all of your love and support you have provided me through the years. You were a great provider, as well as a teacher. When I look back on my life, many of the admirable qualities you had, they are very present in my life today, and I thank you for teaching me those qualities.
One of the greatest gifts I have been able to experience with you was watching you with your grandchildren! The amount of pride and unconditional love you had for them. How you would laugh, that memorable laugh, as they did goofy things. Enjoyed watching you enjoying the moment.
My greatest memory will always be this entire last year. Although struggles with illness, you had always remained grateful, accepting, loving, and open to life's lessons. You brought the entire family together, we shared so many wonderful moments together, dancing signing, playing games, and sharing of stories that created our family. Thank you so very much for the individual talks you had with Don, Mark and I. I know for me, that was the most cherished moment in my life with you.
I know you are at peace now, and I thank God for that! I will miss you terribly, and will always remember the wonder gift God gave me, my DAD!
Love Always, Lori
