Yesterday on May 19th my Niece and I had the honor to walk a 5K for Night Nation Glow Run for SU2C which means stand up to cancer. I made it and I dedicated my walk in honor of my dear and one of the most beautiful Woman, my Supervisor my Friend, my other Mommy but most of all my Hero Rose. She was such an amazing and inspirational Soul that everyone who knew her loved her so much. Yet here we are almost 8 years after her passing that not a day goes by that I don't think of her, ask her for her guidance and support and most of all to be my Angel as she did for almost 7 years of us being together and working side by side until God called her to heaven. I miss you so much my Rosita and I'm so blessed and honored to have made this run and all future runs and walks in your honor. Until we meet again my beautiful friend I will continue to do as many walks and runs as I can in your honor always.  I miss you so so so much my love. I will always Love you because I'm your Dolly Girl...

The good "Jersey Shore" - these were special summers enjoying the beach together. 

Happy Birthday to my darling dad and Rosie who shared a special birthday together for 50 years! March 30 was a very special day in our home since it was a dual birthday. I always felt that she was so fortunate to share this day with our dad. I love you both very much.

Rosie came to drop off Michelle at our home in Fremont, California so that she could go to Colombia on a vacation. Little did we know that little Michelle had chicken pots that soon spread to baby Andy and Joaquin! It was a very interesting summer to say the least. It required lots of patience and oatmeal baths!!!

This is a photo of our vacation to Disney World in the 70s. My sweet mom is the one walking on the left of me and she was elegant, sweet and beautiful as Rosie. We drove from New Jersey to Florida and we played the Elton John cassette tape non-stop. Rocket man, Benny and the Jets, Crocodile Rock, etc....

This is Rosie's birthday in New Jersey with our dearest friends, Maureen Pidgeon, Carmelita, Janette, and other sweet girls from our neighborhood. I can see Rosie got a nice 70s shirt and the famous game, "Trouble" that we played so much. 

 

I recall this photo so much because we had gotten these maxi coats for Christmas. Rosie had an eye for fashion very early on and selected a pladed green coat that I absolutely loved. Having sisters is the best growing up because you get to use each other's clothing!!!

This was truly a wonderful time since we met up in New Jersey/New York to celebrate Janet's 50th Birthday. It was an incredible time for all of us. We saw our old home and the high school that we both graduated from - NPHS!!!

Enjoy ever moment with your loved ones for these are the memories that we hold dear to our hearts.

 

 I love this photo of Rosie because I saw the video that was taken that evening and it was of Rosie dancing to 80s music in her kitchen. She had the biggest smile and she showed off her old dance moves. She always looked so beautiful and elegant! I love and miss you my darling sister.

This was right at the Hotel after we had worked hard all day and we were on our way to the Black & White Party given by GBC... We had a great time..She looked as Beautiful as ever.. I love you soo much Rose and only god knows how much I miss you and how much I miss your Motherly advices and especially your BIG HUGS!! I really, really miss you.........I know that you are in a better place now and you are watching over your Family and me because I am and always will be your Dolly girl.....   

This was when Rose and I went to NJ for the GBC Convention in 2007.. It was a nice weekend for us the Girls from Plastique.. This is Rose & Elizabeth one of our Sales girls that we loved and adore...

Dear Mom,

Today, Sunday 22 May 2011, you would have been dancing and praising the LORD JESUS CHRIST in a christian church (as you always did) BUT this time in NYC due to the fact that your dream has come true through your daughter Michelle Ramirez, which she has graduated from PACE University in NYC! However, you are probably dancing and praising the LORD right now in his heavenly kingdom ABOVE!

I know you were so proud of Michelle during your earthly life, to see her grow up into a young lady with values you instilled in her and to see her live through three years of "higher education" at Pace University! You were so proud and grateful to have a daughter like Michelle. I know it was due to not only having a daughter with the characteristics you wanted her to have but beyond that, she took it further to make you proud, she received higher education! Mom, I know every generation should overpass their previous generation with achievements, I know that is what you wanted for Michelle and I. I know that you struggled so much for us, especially being a single parent and in the course of doing so you wanted the best for us. Perhaps due to your struggles/ obstacles of life, you couldn't complete your "higher education" but regardless you always provided us with your support (financially, emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually). Through you mom (obviously through the LORD's grace), Michelle has graduated with a degree and due to your passing of the "baton", Michelle will finish the race of life that you were on. You lived your dream for/through Michelle, "higher education". I know you had faith in Michelle and now Michelle has made you extremely proud. It was quite a journey for Michelle to get to this point, there were times of extreme hardship but MICHELLE made it through them. Thank you LORD and mom for everything! Continue LORD to bless and protect Michelle, it was mom's prayer and desire for Michelle. LORD, may her introduction to the real earthly world not be harsh but filled with your mercy, grace, protection, blessed opportunities, peace and joy. Guide her steps oh LORD, you are her shepherd.

I found this letter that Rosie had sent to me a couple of years ago while sorting through some papers at home. I found the letter very comforting and loving as we go through this season without her.

I will be thinking of Rosie and all you this Christmas.

When I found this beautiful card and read Rose's words to Christina, I was very moved because Rose took every opportunity to share God's message.

I also love her handwriting. When we were young, we would compete to see who had the best handwriting, especially when we had to do handwriting tablets for homework in elementary school. But, we know who really had the best and it was Rosie as you can see from the card!

I had a dream the same night the family gathered together to disperse my mom's ashes. It is quite a rare thing for me to dream, especially to happen when I sleep for only 8-hours or less. Well in this dream I was in some sort of waiting room, perhaps in the hospital and I was standing up near this wall with glass/ window. I was looking at my mom through this glass/ window, who already had passed and was laying on a hospital bed in some sort of open room/ holding area, I guess before she goes to the morgue. Suddenly, my mom got up and out of the bed, she said to me "I'm fine, I'm alive!!!!!!".  I then ran to Michelle, Hector and Veronica who were sitting in the waiting room that I was in and told them my mom is alive!!!!!!!!!! The dream then ended. My interpretation of this dream is that she and the LORD are telling me that SHE is FINE and IS ALIVE FOR ETERNITY IN HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!! Of course which is only due to her faith in Jesus Christ as her LORD and Saviour!!!!

Rosie,  I know you are free.  I know you told us not to grieve for you.  I know that you are following the path God laid for you.  You took his hand when you heard him call, you turned your back and left it all.  You could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone had to stay that way. 

I know you found that peace at the close of that day. Your parting has left a void but I must remember it with remebered joy.  The friendships you shared, your laugh, your beautiful smile, a kiss, ah this things I know we will miss.   I know you would not want us to be burdened with time of sorrow, but the pain is out of hands.  I know you are wishing for us the sunshine of tomorrow. 

Perphaps your time was all too brief, we will not lengthen it now with too much grief.  We will lift up our hearts and share with you that God wanted you now, He set you free.

To live in the hearts of those you left behind is not to die.   I love you Rosie!

 he tenido el honor de sonarme con Rose y con mami dos veces en esta semana. El primer sueno estabamos en el mar todos con Rose y con Mami y estabamos felices sonriendo.

El segundo sueno fue anoche, tambien  toda la familia, Rose y Mami reunidos en la sala comiendo y disfrutandonos los unos a los otros, Rose me daba las gracias por ayudarla con los ninos cuando eran chiquitos.

Esto me indica que ella quiere que sigamos unidos todos y que ella y Mami siempre estaran con nosotros.
