I met Rudy in the Mpls airport when I was working for Mayo Clinic Ventures as he insisted we discuss a potential investment in his company - Image-Guided Neurologics.  After making the investment for Mayo, he taught me to be a good board member, an innovative thinker and a Thoughtful investor.  He sold the company to Medtronic.

Later in his career, he joined me as a Managing Partner at Accuitive Medical Ventures and we worked on numerous companies together.

We served on numerous boards together and shared stories and family time together. I am a character in his Equity Series books and I am honored to have been his friend, colleague and student.

We spent a great deal of time talking about faith and I was excited with his work in the Church.  I will miss him more than I can say and wish Caroline and his family the best.
