He was born in Wetumka to Lonzo and
Alice Smith Cox.
He graduated from Wetumka High School.
He married Pat Wilson on Nov. 11, 1950 in Fort Smith, Ark.

She preceded him in death on Nov. 28,1996.

He served in the U.S. Air-Force 20 years.

Survivors include three daughters

and three son's..
