It been 8 years.
Dear God, please take care of my little girls,
The ones with big eyes, and soft brown hair.
Their very special, as you should know,
I really didn't want to let them go.
They touched the hearts of everyone they knew.
Letting them go was so hard to do.
Their smile could brighten up the darkest room.
I wish you didn't have to take them so soon.
Could you sit and rock them and read them a story,
They are probably afraid, please tell them don't worry.
Tell them mommy loves them and wishes they could be here,
But it won't be for many more years.
They loves to sing all kinds of songs,
Please tell them that they did no wrong.
Would you comfort them and hold them in your arms tight,
And tell them their missed every day and night.
Please tell them their loved so very dear
I'll say it every day for my girls to hear
Their short life on earth is now completed
For lessons I'm sure you felt I needed
Tell them I promise to see them again someday
When that will be, I really can't say
I promise to make up for the time that's past
To hold them and comfort them, in my arms at last.
