i remember one cold night the furnace had ran out of karosine early in the morning hours, he made sure that i had a warm blanket on me even if he would have too give me his work coat. Then he would get the cans and walk from our home too the nearest gas station which was near the rescue squad in shawsville, to me at the time and now that i think about it, he was a man that really loved his family! When i would wake up as we did every morning for mom too take him to the golf course in salem, there he was filling up the tank outside on a small wooden ladder. Hero's dont all wear capes or fancy costumes, but in my eyes my daddy was a Angel sent from heaven as a Hero! Also daddys girl <3
