Jake ~ When I first met my husband he was full of crazy, funny, outrageous stories from his past and so many of them had you in them. Although, I wasnt too fond of the story of when you two and some very lucky lady went " skieing" with you two ;) ;) although its a bit disgusting, I couldnt help but laugh. So when I finally met you, I was so happy to put a face to the name I heard so much of. Then after hanging around you and getting to know you I quickly knew why you were one of my husbands best friends. Luckly, by this time though you 2 were both tied down, so it was nice to be able to be there and watch the dynamic of your & Richards friendship change to a more grown up one. That's when I got to know the real Jake, who was a funny, loving human being, who shared our love of foot ball and most importantly was always AMAZING to our son, Richie IV!! We all had some great times together going out & playing poker at our house! You where there to share some of the most important times of my husbands and my life.....the first year of our sons life, Richies 1st birthday, that you drove so far to be there & Oh we cant forget watching the Cardinals in the Super Bowl....Man they were so close! We all were on such a high cause we thought they were going to for sure win. So when that didnt happen we were all sitting there silent for a loooong time. That was when I truely realized your love for football. We were all sad but you definitely took the cake when you shed some serious tears! That just shows how deeply you love when you love! I am so happy to share some of the best memories my husband & I have had, with you! I am so happy that we got to see you in the hospital & although things were not the best at that time. We know you heard everything we said and we meant it! You will always hold a special place in our hearts and will be missed beyond words! You truly were one of a kind!! We LOVE you Jake, always and forever!! xoxo
