I have know all my life. We grew up Sparker Springs neighborhood ( Brighton Al.). I remember as a child's grand dad had a horse named Pete , we used to ride Pete all the time. Also Sam, had a lot of Pegion coups. He loved his pigeons.  As a child , hated to go to school. If he didn't want to go , he would write a note telling the teacher that could stay at school, he had to wash clothes for his grandmother.  Sam disappeared for awhile to Chicago, only to returned with a family .
