Remembering you asked me to give you a ride out from the bed of the hospital, never knowing it was the last ride you wanted me to take you on. As I walked back in the ward for my regular evening visit only to see your screen drawn, with tears in my eyes wishing I was able to take you for that ride.

1 year on but it seems like yesterday. Time has certainly passed, but your memories have lived one, in us and with us

You ask me for one last drive out, your wish I could not grant as I watch you lay helplessly.
You knew you were leaving us forever, so you held our hands and said "sit right here on my bed, and don't leave". Within a few minutes we heard "visitors your time is up" as the security voice spoke sternly.
You just wanted us to see you go.
You told us thank you as you bid us peace..

Love you dad.
You will always be in my heart.
Sleep peacefully in your Saviour's arms.

God saw your pain and suffering
So He has taken you to a better place
A place of no tears or mourning
Today we celebrate the end of your race.
