When I heard you were gone, I almost didn't believe it. I'd just been thinking about when we'd next get the chance to catch up and talk. You were a great friend and will be missed dearly. "Life is but a flash, beginning and ending like a simple breath. When the time comes hopefully all that will be left are timeless, eternally joyful memories that will still motivate you, even after they are gone"

There will be times when the sadness won't leave. My comfort is in knowing that you, with your kind and loving ways, earned your peace and that your next journey will be filled with love and joy. Here's to hoping we do meet again somewhere, somehow. Peace.

Scott. I cannot say goodbye. I won't say goodbye. This Passover, we will sit a special chair in your honor. It was my hope that someday your family and mine could sit down and celebrate together. Why did you stop poking me, my friend. I knew something was wrong.. I will miss you more than you will ever know.

I regret not taking more time to chat with you when I had the chance, but the few times I had the honor to laugh, joke and talk about baseball with you will be sadly cherished.

The first homerun hit by the Yankees will be in your honor my friend.

I truly feel we exist to help each other and to be there for each other; when all that is left here are memories it is those memories (of kindness and caring) that mean the most. Scott will be remembered for exactly this; there is no greater legacy.

On the last game that the New York Yankees played in 2010, I remember being online and chatting with you. You were a Yankees fan but far more than that. You were such a sweet, loving, caring, kind, and beautiful human being...with the deepest most amazing heart. You were special. Enjoy front row seats to every Yankees game now.
