Missing My Brother
I think of Mike often and wish he was still with us. He always made me laugh and feel good about myself, which was really hard for anyone to do when I was growing up. I am proud to have known him; he lives on in my heart.
Love to you Mike and Georgia -
Tessa
A Dear Brother
To Mike's Family: Mike used to live a few houses up from me. I was on Robertsville Road in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and he lived across the street from the Aiken's; another neighborhood family. He treated me like a sister and was part of our family. My mom's name was Louise Renfro. He went to church with us many times and was a good, Christian person. It has broken my heart that he has passed. I wish we could have kept in touch. He knew me as Lynn Renfro, but I subsequently changed my name to Tessa. I mourn my loss and his family's as well. I remember him marrying Georgia and him being so happy. He ate at my mom's table on more than one occasion and I will always consider him my big brother. My heart aches right alongside all of yours. I hope life is being kind to you despite your loss. The next time we see Mike, we will never have to be apart from him, his smile, and funny laugh.
