On January 27, 1992, the world was graced with the birth of a beautiful princess. Shanerra Jatayvia Jones, was born to the proud parents of Latrice Lewis and Benjamin Jones III,. A wonderful bundle of joy that was destined to share with the world her genuine smile and sense of humor.


At an early age Shanerra accepted Christ and continued to walk in that belief. As a student of Kelly Elementary School she was on the honor roll and received accolades for her scholastic achievements. She then attended Roosevelt Middle School where she played soccer and her athletic involvement began. As a student at Dominguez High School she continued to participate in various school activities including volleyball and she also graduated with the class of 2010.

Shanerra, the "Hello Kitty Princess" aka "Sour Patch Kid" was nice and mean in the same breath. Sheen loved a good laugh, whether it was you giving her one, or her giving you one. She enjoyed listening to music, watching Lifetime movies, staying fly, taking pictures, and sittin under the sun with her lip gloss popping. Shanerra was smart, beautiful, inquisitive, loving, unique, and very fiesty! (lol)

Shanerra leaves to cherish her loving memories, her mother Latrice Lewis, one sister, Capresha Jones (her sisters keeper) , three brothers Trent Hawthorne Jr., DeAntone Guillory, and Joshaun Jones., four nieces Raelonnie Hawthorne (TT), Ariza Lewis, Azalia Johnson, Lorena Ross and four nephews Joseph Banks, Henry Lewis III,  Davinci Lewis, and Tyree Eli-Aaron Lewis. Grandmothers Linda Ticey and Valencia Yancy, Grandfathers Henry Lewis Sr. and Benjamin Jones Jr., twelve aunts Ryenez, Mykeya, Mykesha, Linda, Val, Etta, Neise, Denise, Keisha, Debra, and Ana. Fourteen Uncles Earl, Jerry, Gary, Benard Sr., Byron Sr., Hank, Pat, Jose, Maurice, Harvey, Chris, Ronald sr., Tyrell sr., The Frazier Family, and a host of family and friends.
