This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Sharon Arrant, 75 years old, born on October 5, 1938, and passed away on February 14, 2014. We will remember her forever.
Sharon and I worked together at the Social Security office in Coos Bay OR for many years. It was such a joy to have her as a fellow employee. I have many wonderful memories and can easily picture her smiling face in my mind. Sharon loved her family and was always so proud of her children. My heart goes out Loyel, her children and the rest of her family.
I have so many great memories of Sharon. We worked together at Social Security for at least 20 years. We used to love shopping in Portland together. We used to love going to Loon Lake to her cabin and play cards, water skiing and boating. She enjoyed life so much. I know she was greatly loved by her friends and family. She will be missed.
My dear cousin Sharon. I am so thankful that we had "re-connected" these past years. Wonderful stories and memories that we shared. Now I will continue to share those memories, as we are "the Memory Makers".
I will miss Sharon although after I retired and she started her quilting we sort of got lost in the things we did! I could only pour coffee for quilters and she made beautiful quilts? I worked with Sharon for seventeen years at the Social Security office and have known Sharon for 41 years?? She always had a smile and was a hard worker both at the office and at home. We both enjoyed our times together in Sorority. I know she is now at peace and no longer has the aches and pains she suffered with for so long. Everyone will miss her! Sincerly, Gloria
Rest in Peace Sharon, I'll always remember you and how clever you were about anything you wanted to do. An excellent cook like your Mother Florence. Sharon was a wonderful sister in law and remained a good friend through out the years. I nearly forgot also good with a penny like her Mom, I think it was the Scottish blood! :)
Sharon was a loyal friend, confidant, with a ready shoulder to lay your troubles on. To spend an afternoon with her quilting and laughing at her bawdy humor was always a bright spot. I will miss her light.
Loved Sharon...to think of her makes me smile. We had the best times both at society and quilting trips in Sharron Thompsons Chevy Van. We filled the Van with fabric and sewing machines and away we'd go leaving the our everyday lives behind. What happened in the Van stayed with the Van. Will miss Sharon and remember her with a smile.
