It saddens me that a year has come and gone with Sharon's passing. I know she is in a better place, but I miss her strength, compassion and talents. At least I knew her and can try to model my behavior to match hers for the rest of my life. You are with God and have joy now!

I finally got brave & went to P&C licensing school after 20 plus years in insurance and my first thought was I wish I could tell Sharon & Pat! You both were so generous training a 20 year newbie. Its too bad that aren't more people that are so generous with their time and knowledge. I'm sure your family is lost w/o u. Hugs to the family

It's hard to believe a year has passed since we lost you. Life does go on, but I miss our long phone calls. We just had a wonderful reunion with Laurie, Elizabeth & her beautiful baby girl, Dale, Bill, Wendy, Brian, Nick and also Jerry's sister Donna, her son Willie & his wife Tami and Donna's daughter Janie. We were all together for Lisa's wedding day on August 24th. Miss you so much.

I have missed mom a lot over the past year. However this day especially reminds me of when she left and so it has a different significance and feeling that is hard to express. It's a great opportunity to reflect and remember her again.

How fast a year passes and how many other people have joined Sharon. Interestingly enough there is a commonality, and I like to think my loved ones are gathered together over martinis, or stingers, discussing insurance, family, business and art. They were/are so smart and sassy. Sharon is their leader!

Happy birthday, Sharon. Today would have been your 75th birthday. I think about you often and miss you. You left us way too soon, and I wish we had been able to get together more often than we did. We will celebrate your birthday and your life today with all of the family. We love you.

Not many people now days are truly givers but Sharon was one. She was always working hard to help other people out. She will be missed greatly by those in our agency that she had wonderful relationships with and I will miss her knowledge and willingness to try and solve any problem. She truly left a legacy behind with all of those that she touched on a daily basis.

Our families were great friends over many years. I remember sharing so many happy times when we were together. Not only the parents were good friends but Bill, Kathy and I were close in ages with Sharon, Dale and Susan. Thus we have wonderful memories of playing and laughing together. We are sadden to learn that Sharon is no longer with us but cherish the memories of times shared.

Sharon was one of the most knowedgeable people I know in this industry but what made her special was her compassion and love of both the industry and the people in it. I will never forget her and will always miss her greatly!

Sharon was the best thing that ever happened to the insurance industry. She was always concerned about my clients and wanted to make sure they were happy. She will be truly missed as a person and an underwriter.

I started working at FB Beattie at age 20 and Sharon was always willing to share her knowledge and train me without talking "down" to me. She helped many people in this way over the years and she worked so hard! She rarely left her desk, very loyal to her agents & markets. Very family oriented. The world has lost a very good person.

Sharon helped me repeatedly over the many years we worked together. She was always available to help with placement, coverage, explanations and education. I believe she taught more brokers, myself included, about Professional Liability and D&O than any person in the Northwest. She is finally getting some rest and peace. I will miss her.

My Aunt Sharon was by far one of the kindest people I have ever known. Always giving without asking for anything in return. She touched so many lives with her generosity and loving spirit. We will miss you.

Sharon and I were good friends. She was the best wholesaler I worked with. She knew her markets and was always ready to give good advice.
She was a good Christian woman and dearly loved her kids and grandkids. I know she has raised the level, where ever she may be.

Always excited about the possibilities that came with change. Always so supportive. A pleasure to work with and to have known. I will miss you Sharon. As the song says: Stake a claim out for me" All my love.

My sister Sharon was special - loving, caring, always more concerned for others than for herself. Being hundreds of miles apart most of our adult lives never separated our hearts. I miss her and find it hard to believe that there will be no more lengthy phone calls and quick visits and warm hugs. I've shared some thoughts of our childhood as a story. Sharing helps!

As my big sister Sharon was always there for me. She was a great listener but also a great talker. We would talk on the phone for hours. She supported me when I was down and I did the same for her. I am so deeply saddened that she will no longer be there for me to talk to or get together with. I will miss her smile, her laugh and her conversations. I can't believe she's gone.

I also worked with Sharon for many years. I was always impressed by her knowledge, expertise, honesty and compassion. She represents a vanishing breed and we will all miss her deeply! She was a "star" in our universe that gave light.

Sharon has always displayed expertise and wisdom. She didn't just push paper, she knew the deal. And she did things 'old school'. She picked up the phone and worked it out. Sharp and armed with a sense of humor, it was always bound to be a great conversation. And she always made it clear not just by words but by action how loyal she was. There will never be another like her. IMY

I worked with Sharon for many years while I was at the Admiral Ins. Co. When I moved to L.A. to work at RSUI, Sharon made it very clear that her underwriter here was Myra. That was Sharon, very loyal. No one knew more about Alaska regulations than Sharon. She was such a hard worker. She was one of a kind and will truly be missed.

I worked with Sharon for more years than I can count. She was the hardest worker I ever knew. Always pleasant, always kind. I am sad that the world has lost another one of the good ones. She will be missed.
