I first met Shirley in 1982 at a little Lord Jesus church at Grapevine ,W.V. I didn't know at that time however that a couple of years later we would become best friends for over 30 years.We were in church together for years. She, her husband Saul my husband Tommy and our children. Shirley was one of the biggest hearted pepo;e I've had the pleasure of meeting and calling my best friend. If she was around you knew it. You heard her way before you ever saw her. She had a smile and a laugh that would light up a room. I miss her so much. She touched my life and I am a much better person for having done so. I have so many fond memories of her, places we went together ,things we all done together, being in church and praising God together. All these are memories that I will never forget. I loved her dearly, and even though the past few years we didn't get to see each other near as much as we would have liked she and Saul were/are always in our hearts. SHE SURELY IS GONE TO SOON. She is home now with Jesus. She served God her whole life ,now she is with her Lord and saviour Jesus Christ awaiting the day when she will be reunited with her husband, children, family and friends.
