A Time To Be Born:  On December 30, 1941 was a blessed day when Shirley Rosser was born into the family of the Late Willie Mae Hunter and the Late Joe Rosser in Meriwether County. 

 
A Time To Accept:  Shirley accepted the teaching of Christ Jesus at an early age and joined Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church.


A Time To Love:  Shirley Rosser met Edward Woods.  A courtship began.  They were united in Holy matrimony on February 26, 1966.

 
A Time To Remember:  When we think of Mama, many memories come to our minds.  Her smile and sense of humor  along with her good cooking, we will long remember.

 
A Time To Be Called Home:  Shirley is preceded in death by:  her siblings Nathan Rosser, James Hunter, Willie Amos Rosser and WilmatineClark; her grandmother, Callie Mae Hunter-Dean.

Shirley fought a good fight.  She crossed the finish line February 27, 2014 in the arms of a Heavenly Father for a peaceful journey home.

To cherish her memories, a devoted husband, Edward Woods;  her caring and devoted children, Travis (Meta) Dragg-Rosser, Linda Rosser, Kevin (Tiffany) Woods, Carlos Woods, Dion (Tonia) Woods, Reginald (Kenya) Woods and Andrea (LaTonya) Woods; grandchildren: Danta, Shawn, Brittany, Devin, RayShaun, Tynise, Carla, Cartavious, Cordereous, Joycelyn, Catera, Jalyn, Jett, Kesharia, Kamiya and Andreavious; three great grand children, and one to soon come; sisters, Willie Ruth Render, Annie Ruth Jackson, Robinette Williams, Kathy Brown (LeRoy); brothers, Morris (Regina) Hunter, Bruce (Cassandra) Rosser; In-laws, Catherine Boddie, Deloris Smith, Jacakorie Woods, Teresa Patrick, Robert (Jackie) Woods, Charlie James (Sandra) Woods, William H. Woods, Ronald Woods;  She was also loved by Christopher Owens, Darrell Owens, and Farrist Arnold that she considered her own; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
