I have come to celebrate a life that held, and still holds for me, great significance and worth. A life so diffusive in its inclination of finding quiet meaning in the sphere of lives it touched- not in the mundane glamour and success of the world it left behind. Things are with me the way they are, and with some other significant others, is half owing to this life that faithfully believed and committed to ideas and ideals bigger and beyond itself. It if for these, and many more reasons, that your memory cannot lie in the desolate ruins of yesteryears. It has been 23 years- and nothing has faded your thoughts. My respects are unshaken. As you continue in your rest, your boy commits to holding up the tenets of the man you made me. Thanks for everything, father, and do rest on. Stella, Dexter, Angell, and Ziva, are with me, and send their kisses and love.

A belated happy birthday, dad. There's no death, in a more significant sense, for him whose memory is alive. Keep resting, Anunadike, till that morning. There are several additions to your boy, but the most recent is gorgeous Ziva Olaedo. The beautiful, full of life girl, will soon turn one.

It's 101 years today you entered this sphere. There were no meteors falling nor comets blazing the sky. You birth was a humble one. Today I celebrate you for many things. Above all, you showed resilience in the face of adversities- you obviously did not come to be afraid of tomorrow but to shape it. I, paying this tribute passed through the forge of your anvil. Here we hold your torch. Congrats Anunadike. Happy 101st birthday and continue your deserved rest.

Father I come. 21 years it has been- but I have not forgotten. It still as fresh as yesterday. I believe you are in peace. What do I say, for all the love you exceptionally showered on me; for those every Sunday visits to my high school, for your unflagging discipline that steadied me on noble paths. I am everything I am because you stood by me, in my formative years. I will not forget that you also laid on me the weight of your hope- Justice. I kept faith with this hope. Thanks for everything.
