Ones we were in Kayts. We were visiting Tony's parents. We were supposed to return to Colombo before St James's feast which was on the 25th of July. Amma stoped us leaving asking us to stay for the feast. Tony refused to stay as we had to return to England to work. To this day, I still remember Amma's words " Son you do not need to go back yet, you must stay for the feast. If St James wants he can give you that money over night. Please do not worry about your job. I like you to remain in Kayts for St James's feast. We agreed with Mother and stayed back for the great feast of St James. Tony,s family is very fond of St James as he is the Patron saint of Kayts. Every year the whole Community celebrate this feast in a great way. We enjoyed the feast and then returned to Colombo. I am sure Amma will be so happy to know that we have not forgotten her words. May St James Intercede and bless us throgh our Amma who is now in heaven.
