Minister Spencer "Sheep" Tuck was born on January 18, 1954 to the late Leroy Tuck and Mattie L. Goggans Tuck in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.
He joined Elam #2 Baptist Church at an early age where he served faithfully as a deacon and was later called into the ministry (saving souls).
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Carrie Brown on September 27, 1997. Upon graduating from Coosa County High School, he began working with Robinson Foundry for several years. Recently, he was a well dedicated em ployee with Russell Brands, LLC until his illness. He was pursuing a degree at Rushing Springs School of Theology.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Pastor Larry Tuck and Dea. Gregory Tuck.
He departed this life on January 11, 2012 at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City, Alabama.
He leaves to cherish his memories: A loving wife, Carrie Tuck of Rockford, AL. Two sons, Roderick (Shaunterrica) Hicks of Alexander City, AL; Terrance "Tee" Pope of Rockford, AL. Seven grandchildren. Two brothers: Jimmy (Elaine) Tuck of Kellyton, AL; Jeffery (Felicia) Tuck of Rockford, AL. Three sisters: Debra Boddie and Brenda (Pastor Wayne) Davis, both of Kellyton, AL; Jackie (Randall) Birmingham of Alexander City, AL. Two brothers-in-law: Bennie Ray Brown of Youngstown, OH; Johnny (Olivia) Brown of Huntsville, AL. Two sisters-in-law: Joyce (Adolphus) Leonard of Alexander City, AL; Cornelia Tuck of Kellyton, AL. A host of other relatives and friends. Two spe cial godchildren: Jada Birmingham of Alexander City, AL; Donovan "DJ" Gaddis of Rockford, AL.
Funeral service for Mr.Spencer Tuck will be Monday, January 16,2012 at Peace & Goodwill Baptist Church at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Elam #2 Baptist Church Cemetery.
